Critical to the success of any corporate rebranding, is the time and thought given to the planning of each step and the organisation necessary to deliver. When Centurion were appointed by the UK’s leading e-cigarette retailer Vaporized to convert their UK network of 120no. stores to the new European friendly VPZ brand, we were delighted to help.
Our project team sprang into action by devising an intensive survey schedule which would see all sites surveyed over a two-week period. The information gathered, was fed back to our design team who then compiled production drawings for each of the locations. Every site was assessed on its own merit, ensuring each design complied not only with our client’s corporate brand guidelines but also any Local Authority planning regulations and landlord stipulations.
As a consequence of our client’s estate containing a broad variety of site types, we developed a suite of signage solutions to address the many scenarios ranging from powder-coated aluminium sign trays with pushed through opal acrylic letters, internally illuminated with cool white LEDs and complimented with illuminated projecting signs down to simple flat cut acrylic lettering and window manifestations.
A manufacturing programme was structured to synchronise with our installation schedule, covering the country in a co-ordinate regional approach. This was proven to be cost effective for the client and gave their brand greater impact since all premises within any specific area were converted simultaneously.
The entire manufacture and install programme were completed over a six-week period and the client has benefited greatly from the rebrand with quality signage which will serve them for years to come.
