Centurion Signs Opens Apprenticeship Scheme

Here at Centurion Signs we’re showing the Manufacturing Industry is alive and well!

With a company history spanning over 45 years, our consistent business growth and expansion seems to be thwarting the common theory that the Scottish manufacturing industry is on the decline.

We are one of the very few fully accredited, bespoke manufacturers of signs that remain in the country, with an expansive East Kilbride facility allowing us to manufacture all signs on our premises, under our own supervision.

Our Managing Director, Glen Ballantyne, has the following message about our growth strategy and upcoming apprentice opportunities: “We believe our consistent level of service cannot be delivered without full control of the sign making process. So for this reason we have invested heavily in our facility and continuous improvement program, and will continue to. We have an aggressive growth strategy where we‘ll be expanding our services throughout the UK and we have major contracts through till 2017. This plan includes further investment in our staff and continuous improvement program, where we seek to provide opportunities for progression across our entire organisation.”

We are very proud to announce we have now opened our new 3 year Apprenticeship Programme to applicants in the East Kilbride area. With this programme we will provide an extensive and varied experience for successful candidates across the entire Centurion Signs business, which encompasses sales, marketing, design, manufacturing and project management.

Applications are now being accepted through East Kilbride Group Training Association –www.ekgta.com/apprenticeships/application.
