Pollok Golf Club Signage Upgrade
CUSTOMER: POLLOK GOLF CLUB
SIGN TYPES: FLAT CUT LETTER, PANEL & POST
NUMBER OF SIGNS: 7
Private Golf Clubs are judged on appearance; the appearance & condition of the course, the appearance of the clubhouse and also their entrance ways. For this reason the prestigious Pollok Golf Club in Glasgow recently contacted us to upgrade their entrance & carpark signage.
The signage designed would have to fit its leafy surroundings, and the entrance signs in particular would have to blend nicely with impressive stone wall that separates the Golf Club with the main road.
A variety of flat panel and panel & post signs were designed with the club’s branding and crest. These would mark car spaces for the Honorary Vice President, Captain and Vice-Captain, as well as the exterior service entrance.
The more challenging, but impressive main entrance sign, was designed to blend with the stone wall in which it was fitted. This sign was constructed and folded from 3mm aluminium, which was powder coated to increase the longevity of the sign. The letters and club crest were computer cut from 10mm dense white acrylic, complete with metallic silver & dark blue vinyl applied to face.
