Interior Sign for Paesano Pizza
Every week we produce interior signs, often using standard materials and processes. However, every now and then we are provided the opportunity to utilise our arsenal of materials and processes along with clever design. Recently Paesano Pizza provided us with one of these opportunities, and we loved every minute of producing their restaurant’s internal focal point.
The owner of Glasgow’s newest pizza restaurant cut no corners when it came to fitting out Paesano, even importing giant, authentic pizza ovens from Napoli. So the restaurant signage had to match the quality of the equipment and modern, ‘shabby chic’ interior design.
Paesano Interior Sign Specs
In order to achieve the desired effect this interior sign would be illuminated like a classic fairground sign, with a rusted frame. However, due to the size of the sign, it had to be strong, with efficient and reliable lighting.
The impressive 4m long, 1m high main body of lettering was CNC cut from mild steel sheet that is designed to rust/distress within days. These were bent and fabricated with 150mm deep return edges, with all weld marks kept visible.
The sign has been illuminated using 450 No Cabochon lights with LED bulbs. The LED bulbs used provide the desired level of light, at a very low cost. The reliability of the LED bulbs also means there will be no ugly looking ‘dud’ bulbs on the sign; so no requirement to change any of the 450 bulbs every few months.
So here we have the results of the fantastic Paesano Pizza restaurant interior sign.
