Mrs Millsy’s Shop Front Sign

March 17, 2015

As you know, here at Centurion Signs we enjoy a challenge and take pride in high quality. So we were delighted when Mrs Millsy’s requested the kind of high-spec shop front sign that they did.

Mrs Millsy’s is a new bar that has recently opened in Hamilton, near Glasgow. Their brand and service offering is aligned with the brand tagline ‘Real Food – Real Music – Real Entertainment – Real Beer’. So we had to ensure that their attractive proposition inside was matched by a high quality sign outside. A ‘Real Sign’ you might say…

Mrs Millsy’s main shop front sign included LED illuminated, built-up letters on top of a black back panel. This black back panel was constructed from 3mm powder coated aluminium that included computer cut vinyl text applied to the face. It provided the perfect backdrop for the built up, red ‘Mrs Millsy’s’ letters that were fabricated from 2mm aluminium. These letters are internally illuminated using banks of red LED units, and red vinyl letters have been applied behind each letter to enhance the halo.

As you can see from the images within this article, the end result of the shop front sign was excellent and provided the desired effect. Mrs Millsy’s bar and restaurant is now a noticeable beacon as you tavel along Townhead Street in Hamilton. So with their new look we wish them every success in their venture! Make sure to look out for them if you are ever nearby.
