New Legislation

PR EN 7010

In the coming year we will see the adoption of a new standard for health and safety signs as ISO 7010 is to become PR EN 7010.
The change will see safety signs move away from being an "International Standard" to a "European Normative" (EN). The new standard has been developed to provide consistency in design across Europe.
The new designs are being implemented throughout 2011. You will notice design changes to a large majority of the symbols whereas others may appear completely unchanged.
Health and safety signs that conform to BS5499 standards have yet to be adapted by the ISO standards and will still be available upon request.

Hazchem Update (COSHH Symbols)

Between 2009 and 2015 we will see a continuing development on our Hazard Signage where we shall continually phase in new designs. This transitional period will see some noticeable changes in the labeling symbols. Instead of the Hazard symbols with black printing on orange-yellow rectangles we will now see hazard pictograms with black symbols on a white background with a red-rimmed rhombus.
